About Me.
I am a secondary French teacher in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. I received my PhD in French languages and literatures in 2013 from the University of Georgia. I have taught all levels of language acquisition to all ages of learners, from elementary to graduate students. In 2022, I co-piloted a small school program that incorporates French, STEAM, and equity studies. I have presented my work at multiple conferences, am the author several articles on French literatures, and was recently named a member of the inaugural cohort of Dell's K-12 Education Innovator Accelerator program.
